Fiction/ Historical fiction is my main love in literature; particularly stories set in the UK as well as exotic locations, my favorites being India, Russia, China etc. Although I read a large range of time periods, my "comfort zone" is somewhere between 1880-1930. I also love memoirs and travel/adventure books. I dislike most contemporary fiction, I suppose because I prefer a true escape. Another place, another time, another culture.
